I have recently discovered the Conqueror Series and my new favourite author! I normally read John Grisham among other authors and when a friend reccomended Conn's Conqueror Series I tried it. Like so many of the people who have posted in these forums I have gone straight from one book to the next. I am currently reading "Bones of the Hills" and will definately move from this series to the Emperor Series when I am finished. Each book just keeps building and building. I cannot imagine anyone ever starting one of these books and not wanting to read on!

When looking for these books online I recently came upon "Genghis: Birth of an Empire by Conn Iggulden." When I read the blurb online it gives info from the Conqueror series. Does anyone know where this fits into the jigsaw? I have also noted that it is not mentioned on Conn's website.

I've had endless trouble with this. For reasons which escape me, the US version of Wolf of the Plains is titled 'Genghis: Birth of an Empire'. As a result, some people bought the book twice and were understandably annoyed about it. With that as my example - and some pretty unpleasant 'reviews' on Amazon, mentioning it, I have made a point of insisting on later titles being the same.
